How we brought life’s values to work for Surrey County Council.
Understanding the culture and values of an organisation is an important part of the job seeking process. And so is recruiting people who share your values. So when Surrey County Council were looking to bring their new EVP (employee value proposition) to life on their careers site, a quiz seemed like a good solution.
With a wide-ranging target audience that varied from Children’s Social Workers and Residential Workers, to Occupational Therapists, Caretakers and Cleaners, we devised an interactive quiz that gave candidates a greater understanding of Surrey County Council’s values. It also helped them work out whether the things they valued at work and in life matched-up. Those whose personal values did match with those of the Council’s were encouraged to apply for a role, leading to an increased quality of candidate.
